Nick joined Altius Group in 2021 and leads Altius Group Technology to elevate the wellbeing of our team members, clients, and customers, delivering the best of Altius through digital channels and new technology solutions. His role also includes responsibility for the Group’s technology operations and systems.

Prior to joining Altius Group, Nick led the award-winning digital team at Bupa Australia and New Zealand delivering online solutions for their health insurance, dental, optical, and aged care businesses, in support of their 5 million customers, patients, and residents. Prior to that Nick has worked in diverse industries, leading digital product teams in online marketplaces, environmental and infrastructure risk management, spatial mapping technology, and consumer products.

Nick has worked around the globe in Europe and the United States before moving to Australia in 2017. His passion for human centred design and for delivering consumer-grade solutions that are intuitive and easy to use, yet are powerful and accessible to everyone, has run through his career. He has extensive experience in user testing, piloting, iterative software development, and the craft that makes exceptional digital experiences.

Nick is an author of a patent for his work and has been published in industry journals and presented at conferences around the world. A theme throughout his career has been identifying patterns in core human needs and applying innovative solutions to meet them. He brings a real passion for his work, and a thirst for learning the intricate details of our customer, client and team member needs so that the thoughtful solutions we deliver make them a delight to use.
