Prashant is an award winner CISO , CSO30 2023 and WA State Branch Chair of IT Service Management Forum . He works for the WA State Government and also serves as a volunteer on few community boards. He is experienced in Cyber Security operations, Cyber Security Uplift program, and Cyber Security Awareness program delivery, Governance and Risk Management. He has extensive expertise in IT and has worked with numerous organisations to deliver multi-million-dollar programmes, digital transformation, and innovation initiatives. His interests in technology include IoT, Big Data, AI, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Blockchain, and other related issues such Ethic and Digital Inclusion.
He has been nominated for many awards and recognitions for his professional excellence and innovation. He is done various submissions on policy papers and recently did his submissions to Department of Home Affairs discussion paper on Strengthening Australia’s Cyber Security Regulations and Incentives and Digital ID 2023 Bill & Rules.
He graduated from Queensland University of Technology (QUT), and holds numerous IT Industry certifications. Prashant is an alumnus of CEDA Copland leadership program and Australia Day Council (Auspire) Multicultural Leadership program
He is a passionate speaker who has spoken at numerous IT & Cyber Security Summits, National and International forums, and universities as a guest lecturer. He recently presided over ITSMF's State of the Nation session to explore the effects of significant cyber security breaches like those at Optus and Medibank.
